Reduce dead space and rebreathing with sidestream capnography connectors.

Reducing the unused gas volume prevents rebreathing of "spent" or CO₂-containing gas. This is especially important for small patients with limited respiratory capacity. In these patients, dead space is critical in relation to lung capacity. A larger dead space can quickly lead to inefficient breathing.
